STEM & Maker Space Learning

This year we are integrating STEM and Maker Space Learning into our student’s instructional practices.  STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and involves both problem-based and performance-based activities.  STEM learning involves our students being able to work collaboratively to solve problems in a creative way.  Maker Space Learning allows students to experiment, investigate, problem-solve, build critical thinking skills and design inventions.  These opportunities are teacher facilitated and student led.  This allows students to work through the design process, test items they create and evaluate the success.
